I spend a lot of time and money buying and reading comics. Most of the time I'm happy with my choices, sometimes not. I'm hoping, that with my reviews on what I've read, I might spare someone else dissapointment. I'll read anything, but I can't afford everything. If there's something you'd like for me to read, let me know. If you take the time to read this, please, take the time to let me know what you think. I may not agree with you, or you may not agree with me. But, so what. That's life.

Superman: World of New Krypton #6 - DC
At the end of last issue, General Zod was addressing the population of New Krypton, and . . he got shot down. He's not dead, yet, but . . "Whatever he was shot with, it's done tremendous damage on a cellular level. We're still trying to arrest the effect, but no matter what we do, it seems only to amplify it. We've had to put him into stasis to prevent a cascading failure." I'm only guessing here, but . . I'll bet it'll turn out to be one of those things that they can only stop by putting him back in the Phantom Zone. Anyways, they have the guy that shot him. Shortly after he committed the act, he tried to fly away but the crowds followed him. And then they dragged him back down to the planet's surface so that they could all get a piece of him. He was pretty tore up by the time Kal and Commander Gor got to him. His name is Ral-Dar and he's a member of the military guild. That seems kind of coincidental . . doesn't it? They question him, and they have him detained . . but he breaks free. He seems to be on a course for Earth. So Kal and Kara are going to try to intercept him. However, Kal can't go as Commander El . . it wouldn't sit well with the Earth's governments, so . . he donning his Superman costume. I also have the sneaking suspicion that this was all set up by Zod . . for some reason. The cover would suggest that Zod and Superman are one and the same. But it could just be a cover gimmick. I might be reaching there. It just seems like the people of this planet just can't catch a break. It's one thing after another. Greg Rucka and James Robinson write this, with Pete Woods doing the art. This book is definitely picking up momentum as it moves along.
