I spend a lot of time and money buying and reading comics. Most of the time I'm happy with my choices, sometimes not. I'm hoping, that with my reviews on what I've read, I might spare someone else dissapointment. I'll read anything, but I can't afford everything. If there's something you'd like for me to read, let me know. If you take the time to read this, please, take the time to let me know what you think. I may not agree with you, or you may not agree with me. But, so what. That's life.

Gotham City Sirens #2 - DC
This is the second issue of . . the bad-girls take Gotham. But we don't really know what their intentions are yet. In fact, Harley actually performs a good deed when she's witness to Bruce Wayne being taken captive. Obviously we know it's not the real Bruce, but Harley doesn't. She thinks it's the guy that stood up for her at her parole hearing. While Hush appreciates her interaction, he's also fighting with the urge to pummel her to death since she, and Catwoman and Ivy stole his millions. However, he lets a cool head prevail and instead learns through Harley's loose lips that the 3 vixens are still in cahoots. I don't think he planned on confronting the Sirens just yet, but . . with this opportunity presenting itself . . he has Harley take their picture together and then send it over her phone to Selina. Harley doesn't know that Bruce is actually Hush, but . . Selina does and she immediately springs into action. I also liked the interaction, in the beginning of this story, between are 3 fem-fatales when Ivy is trying to test Selina's trust by forcing the identity of Batman out of her. Luckily, we learn that a few years ago, Talia had trained Selina for just such an occurrence. "Even with his eventual death, there are secrets of the Batman that must remain forever untold." Personally, I think this book has some tremendous potential. As we've learned through prior titles, and stories, Paul Dini has a pretty good grasp of this corner of the DC Universe. And he's got some great characters to work with here. I also enjoyed Guillem March's art. His cover is fantastic. The interior art is a little looser, but it fits the story well. I'm looking forward to seeing where this title goes.
