I spend a lot of time and money buying and reading comics. Most of the time I'm happy with my choices, sometimes not. I'm hoping, that with my reviews on what I've read, I might spare someone else dissapointment. I'll read anything, but I can't afford everything. If there's something you'd like for me to read, let me know. If you take the time to read this, please, take the time to let me know what you think. I may not agree with you, or you may not agree with me. But, so what. That's life.

Superman: World of New Krypton #10 - DC
At the end of last issue, Kal El and Red Shard went into one of the council member's, Mar-Li's quarters to find him dead. Standing in the room . . alone . . over the dead body, is Adam Strange. Adam arriving in this particular room was just an unfortunate coincidence. He had Zeta-beamed to New Krypton, but it was to voice a protest. With Rann's populace setting up shop on their new world, Prince Gavyn's throneworld, they don't want to see anyone entering into an accord with the Thanagarians. Anyways, he tells the council why he came, but . . they're much more interested in solving Mar-Li's death. So to that end, Kal-El asks for Adam's help, as he's much more the detective than Kal-El. Long story short . . Mar-Li was killed with a Labor Guild device. It's used for terraforming. Adam and Kal-El go round and round about things, but in the end Kal-El has a revelation. 'We've been looking at this as a personal crime. What if it isn't? Mar-Li was a member of the council, Adam . . one of the leaders of New Krypton. Killing him is a strike at the government. We've been calling Mar-Li's death a murder. But maybe there's a different word for it, Adam . . maybe it was an assassination.' And if that's true . . it looks like the next target may be Alura. I thought Adam Strange made a good addition to this story. I'm sure Kal-El was happy to see a fellow Earthling also. Greg Rucka and James Robinson wrote it, with Pete Woods and Ron Randall on the art. I'm just wondering how many issue we have to go. When this book first started it said on the covers that it was going to be 15 issues. However, on the DC web-site it was posted as being 12 issues. Now . . now it doesn't say anything on the book, but in the previews it says #12 is the finale. It doesn't really matter to me, but . . I with they'd make up their minds. But there's got to be another series following it up, because I can't see them wrapping this up that quick. And where will we see the adventures of New Krypton?
