Flash #7 - DC

Bart has decided to move to Los Angeles. Partly because he just wants to get out of Keystone. And partly because his girlfriend moved somewhere out west. Anyways, he just gets to town, and who does he run in to, Abra Kadabra! He's trying to pull off a jewelry heist. As the Flash, he follows him to the Alps, by getting in the jewelry store himself before it's teleported, and foils the robbery. Not much of a surprise there. Velocity is meeting with Deathstroke in Nevada. It seems that his speed only comes from the drug, Velocity 9. It has nothing to do with the Speed Force. Deathstroke heads off to New York for his Titans East thing, and Thad goes in to the future to get a part he needs to help Mota. Mota is trying to regain his physical form, by using his daughters body. Thad acts like he's trying to help him, but then sabotages the whole thing so that Valerie survives, but her father doesn't. I'm thinking, she's got some powers she doesn't know about yet though. Anyways, the issue ends with Thad trying to coax Bart in to coming out to Las Vegas where he has a trap set out for him. The writing team of Bilson and Demeo are doing a fantastic job with this book. I really like the pace and style they've brought to it. To bad Ken Lashley isn't on pencils anymore, but I do like the work of Ron Adrian and Art Thibert. My only question is, where's Waldo? I mean Wally!
